Log in to your New Relic account, select the drop-down menu on the upper-right side of the screen. Click on Account Settings.
Next, select API Keys.
Click Show Key at the top of the page.
Copy the API Key at the top of the page (not the Admin User API key).
Log in to your StatusPage account and navigate to Public Metrics > 3rd Party Data Sources. Select New Relic, paste in your API key, and select Link Account.
Navigate to Public Metrics in your nav bar and click 'Add a Metric'. Select New Relic from the dropdown along with the appropriate Application and Metric. Available metrics include Response Time, Throughput, Apdex, Error Rate, Errors, Real User Response Time, and Real User Apdex. Finally, enter in a Display Name and Display Suffix.

Adding the new metric may take a couple of minutes. Feel free to watch some helpful “how-to” videos -- or look at animal pictures -- while you’re waiting.
By navigating to “Advanced Options,” you’ll be able to edit the metric and its attributes, such as the metric description, the y-axis, and control how the data is displayed. By default, your metric is hidden and will not show up on your status page. Once you’re ready to display the metric on your page, select “Overview” and click “Set it to visible.”
