Delete a page or organization

To delete your page, you need to cancel your subscription on that page first, if there is one.
If you only have one page, contact support to delete your organization.

Statuspage pages can be permanently deleted by product admins. Please note that the page deletion process is irrecoverable.

How to delete a page

  1. On the left side navigation bar, go to Your page > Delete page. At the bottom of the page, click Delete page.

  2. You will be prompted to confirm that you want to delete your page - confirm by clicking Delete page.

Once you confirm the deletion request, all product admins in your organization will be informed about this request via an email. Please note that any product admin in your organization can request deletion or cancel an existing deletion request.

A banner will be visible to all users in your account to inform about the deletion request.

Deletion process

Once the deletion request is confirmed, permanent deletion process will start after 7 days. All product admins in your organization will be informed about this request via an email when the request is triggered, and again when there are 24 hours and 1 hour remaining until the deletion is processed. You will have 7 days for any product admin in your organization to cancel this request before the deletion is final and irrecoverable. Please note that it may take up to 24 hours from the time the page deletion is processed (after the 7 day window) for the data to be deleted by Statuspage.

Cancel deletion request

You can cancel your deletion request via the link given in the banner or from Your page-> Delete page within 7 days.

  1. Click Cancel deletion to cancel the deletion request.

  2. You will be prompted to confirm that you want to cancel the requested deletion - confirm by clicking Cancel deletion.

When the cancel request is successfully performed, there will be an informative message and the banner will disappear. All product admins in your organization will be informed about this cancellation via an email.
